The 577 has 4 memory levels ... so that is 8 x 4 = 32 pistons for registration.
Plus you can have your piston combinations saved as a "song before the song"
on your sequencer disk... or they can be loaded from the SAME song you are
using for accompanyment tracks... just be sure to leave about 5 seconds or so
between the end of the registration portion of the sequence and the start of
actual play to give yourself time to save the combinations to the memory
piston(s). This technique makes it easy to load the registrations just prior to
playing a selection, and keeps them "linked" to a particular sequence.

too. It's the best money I ever spent. On another note, I purchased Dan
Miller's Two Hymns of Faith, how many pistons do I need to designate to make
the registration changes--eight doesn't seem to be enough on the church's
577.
