Well I've never had an issue with windows 7 or vista needing sata drivers,
but xp was written in the days of ide, it doesn't know anything about sata,
back then that was still an idea on paper. Luckily SAS was around and they
needed a third party plug-in systemn, so that saved our butts! But in
windows 7/8/vista this is not a problem...
