Reg, that would be fantastic! As I said, having dealt with this company before, i am really surprised that the support was so lacking. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Reginald George" <sgeorge@xxxxxxxxx> To: <real-eyes@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Saturday, July 08, 2006 9:25 AM Subject: [real-eyes] Re: I'm having a horrible time installing freedom box I am willing to help Kim trouble shoot this at no cost just to learn the software. I have an XP laptop with USB 1.1 and, I can try to install it on there if I can't get her's to work but, I bet I can. I doubt if the USB port is the issue. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Jim Fettgather" <jim@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx> To: <real-eyes@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Saturday, July 08, 2006 12:23 AM Subject: [real-eyes] Re: I'm having a horrible time installing freedom box I am certainly shocked and dismayed at what appears to be a clear lack of decent support on freedom box behalf. If the key requires USB 2.0, then that should be clearly stated in the system requirements for the device. I have seen some MP3 players that do need USB 2.0 to run properly, but it is clearly stated on the system requirements. You could have a USB 2.0 PCI card installed in the machine for probably not much money, around $50. It is certainly vastly more responsive than 1.1. However, if you can send it back, then I would consider doing so. I have read lots and lots of FreedomBox documentation, and nowhere is it stated that USB 2.0 is necessary to run the key. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Kim Morrow" <morrowmediakc@xxxxxxxxx> To: <real-eyes@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Friday, July 07, 2006 11:30 PM Subject: [real-eyes] Re: I'm having a horrible time installing freedom box The bottom line from the head of Cerotech was that my computer was a piece of *&!@!!!!!!&&&&***** Kim -----Original Message----- From: real-eyes-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:real-eyes-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Jose Lopez Sent: Friday, July 07, 2006 10:16 PM To: real-eyes@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [real-eyes] Re: I'm having a horrible time installing freedom box so r they telling u that a 1.0 USB port isn't fast enough to install there key? what does the speed of the USB have to do with the install? what r there minumen requeritments and what do u run?
