Hello,

I have 4-aminophenol (paraminophenol) and I would like to mix Rodinal by my
own but I don?t know how much hydrochloric acid I have to add to the
4-aminophenol to get the paraminophenol hydrochloride.

Does somebody know something about this point?

Thanks in advance.

Best,

hi it was a cold evening, everything went smooth. rodinal works well with
the slower films like efke 25, 50, and100. these are the same as the old
adox films. rich

Did you try using a water bath, to mix your chemicals in? It will carry the
heat better than your beaker or flask sitting in air. The rodinal from the
Formulary last a good while.
