DEAR JEAN-DAVID, Congratulations! You definitely got me on that one! I must have had a case of "Gullible's Travels"! This doesn't happen often. All seriousness aside, I also recall that Edward criticized his son, Brett, once, in public (and it wound up in writing), saying that Brett felt that he needed to have the most expensive lenses and cameras, fastest (most expensive) cars and fastest (most expensive) women! Edward didn't think all that was necessary but he did admit that Brett made great photos. CHEERS! Weston, at one point, got so annoyed about people saying what a great lens he must be using, got a lens for $5 or $10 or something like that in a second hand shop and used it (at least for a while). And that stuff about his being blind I just made up. No way could he have seen the images he did if he could not see, both optically and artistically. Sorry if you believed me. I was just kidding. > > > On Tue, Nov 26, 2013 at 11:42 AM, Jean-David Beyer > <jeandavid8@xxxxxxxxxxx <mailto:jeandavid8@xxxxxxxxxxx>> wrote: > > On 11/26/2013 09:58 AM, Tim Daneliuk wrote: > > On 11/26/2013 08:29 AM, Bob Younger wrote: > >> And it will be art because they used a very expensive special camera > >> to make it; and they clearly have the funds to promote the exhibit. > >> Damn I'm getting cynical. > > > > > > It's always been like that.
