Redefine the hotkeys that use the numpad however you like. You might
want to use the laptop keyboard layout as your starting point rather
than the default keyboard layout, as the laptop layout assumes that
you'll try to stay clear of the numpad to begin with. Still, why no like
the numpad? It opens up the keyboard so much.
