I upset Sina with this mail and after reading it back I can see how it would
upset him and the creators of this software. I am sorry it came out as
nasty as it did but I fight these large companies every chance I get in the
position I am in and I wish I had more opportunity to do so. I like the
Bean project and will most likely end up using it for a few things so I am
not flaming the developers of specialized software below as much as I am
pissed at the companies for glad handing and supporting one IDE no matter
how nice and not supporting the whole branch of their software for everyone
and I am not just talking the blind community. I have other bones to pick
with Orical to but the blind one affects me the most. I just hope those
developers who get to talk to whoever it is at Orical do put in at least 10
% of their time to ask why more of their stuff is not being supported
including some of their Database tools and the Access bridge. So again
sorry about my flippant mail I am sure I could have wrote it better but call
me rude I sometimes come off as prickly as the old fart I am. I do like
this project and think it has one of the better debuggers for blind users.
Sorry if this message got to the list twice I tried to reply to it but
screwed it up with good old outlook.

Um yes lets help the special software to help the special people but not to
actually make the full set of our software accessible. That way we will
look good without having to do too much hard work. I have no complaints
about that either.

LOL, you crack me up Sina. I'm really looking forward to you coming out for
our workshop next summer!

As for Oracle, they've been incredibly supportive of our team, so far and
have fixed a host of accessibility problems for us without head cracking.
They've helped us a ton with the debugger architecture, various windows and
behind the scenes stuff, and generally, have given us more support than I
ever would have expected. I really have no complaints at all.

I guess the trick is that we always some with a really explicit list of
accessibility problems and such. So, I figured I would ask folks.

If people have some specific problems they'd like to see fixed, I can always
ask them about it.
