IDEAL group has developed both an accessible e-mail client and web browser for Android. Both open source and released to the eyes-free community. The e-mail client is kalled K9, but I don't remember the name of the accessible web browser. I have not tried these apps my self though. I don't have a Android phone yet. But Android is still far behind iPhone regarding accessibility, but it's very interesting and will just continue to improve. -----Original Message----- From: programmingblind-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:programmingblind-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of David Engebretson Jr. Sent: 30. juli 2010 18:10 To: programmingblind@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: Re: Is Android Programming Accessible? And something called Spiel also. I'm not sure what that is because I haven't looked into it. Interesting that all of these apps are open source.
