It still does all that with all extensions disabled.

There was an interesting thread recently at WPW about FF 
issues, and some said FF was faster for them, and some said IE 
was much faster.  No one had any explanations as to how this 
can happen.

So I take it you don't know how to go back to a previous 
version, like from 3.6.3 to 3.6 or so?
