Yes I have three numbers to try, and have tried all three . I am trying to get it working before I leave for UCLA my mom is having surgery Wednesday and I would prefer to use Earthlink account to send out the results to our friends. It's a major surgery so we are all concerned.. (she is 84) anyway, I am able to get AOL and will use that if I have to but.... VBG I am partial to Earthlink. thanks for the link will check it out but I think I might have been there before, but who knows something might pop out that I missed. It is hard to "see" what might be wrong on email but here is a tutorial with pictures that might help. http://start.usaa.net/mu/1/psc/img/walkthroughs/windows_9x_nt/dialers/dun_1.2/0353.2v.configure.psc.html If nothing jumps out at you here then I would rest up and try again tomorrow with chat and support. ----- Original Message ----- From: <sandy1943@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> To: <pctechtalk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Monday, April 26, 2004 10:36 PM Subject: -=PCTechTalk=- Re: setting up dial up > yes I used the entire name and yes I used the wizard the first couple of times. he had me change some settings and then it wouldn't even dial wow that was scary... but I erased what he had me type in.. > AT+MS=V90 and now it's dialing again but still phone on the other end isn't answering.
