I did it in safe mode and had the same problem...I used to have the same problem when I scanned disk but I turned off everything running in systray and scan went thru fine.. The hard drive is 7/8 empty...has a LONG way to go to be even 1/4 full. I don't know what else to turn off? ----- Original Message ----- From: "Cris" <cris@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> To: <pctechtalk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Monday, February 26, 2007 1:49 PM Subject: -=PCTechTalk=- Re: defrag how much free space is on your hard drive? if you don't have enough, it can stop. Also helps to defrag in safe mode while nothing is running in the background. Mine stops at 27% and says not all the computer files could be defraged. Never had that happen before..I turned off everything that could use up something but I still get this notice. It needs to defrag but won't. spt. -- <Please delete this line and everything below.> To unsub or change your email settings: //www.freelists.org/webpage/pctechtalk To access our Archives: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/PCTechTalk/messages/ //www.freelists.org/archives/pctechtalk/ -- No virus found in this incoming message.
