No, I don´t think so, but I could be wrong. Your computer is reading it as
a removable "disk" or storage device, which the printers are not!!! Have
you rebooted?

Both of my printers are plugged into USB ports and the HP has slots for
camera cards as well as a slot to transfer directly from camera to the HP.
That must be what is creating Removable Disk (G:)
