I have not visited Symantec again as of yet. I did some more searching and found a folder for GoBack with an Installer so figured no need to download anything. I set a restore point (not knowing for sure what I am doing here) and double clicked the installer. It began to install and then came the error message 25027--unable to create enough contiguous space for GoBack. It suggested, and I tried, closing things in the taskbar and disabled Norton Firewall and Virus Protection. Used Enditall to stop things from running. Still got the same error message. I have a 49 Gig harddrive and have 14.16 Gig of free space. Can anyone tell me what I need to do to free up enough contiguous space? Does defrag, speed disk, optimizer, and CleanUp have any positive effects in this situation? or do I just conclude I need an 80 Gig hard drive?
