When I went to buy a laptop I went into Best Buy and ran Vistas' System
Performace Rating on every laptop I was interested in. I noticed that all
the ones that had a low Video rating couldn't even run their demo animations
smoothly. I wound up getting $400 Acer that had less memory (2 GB) and HD
space (160 GB), but video worked very good (3.? Rating) and it has a decent
size LCD display. At least the memory and HD are easy to upgrade if I need
to, but video is harder to upgrade.

Subject: -=PCTechTalk=- New Laptop

Monday I went out and got a new laptop. *t's a HP G60, Running Vista Home
Premium, 3 Gigs RAM, AMD Turion X2, 150 gig hard drive. So far I like it,
still learning all the differant stuff on it.
At this point the only complaint i have is it does not like to play
streaming video full screen.
Took me about 4 hrs to get there crap that I didn't want off and my crap
that I want on.
Steve
