boy - this is really a disappointment. I heard something last night - an interview I thought with a telemarketer, and they said they thought it was fine as long as it allowed them to continue calling 'known' business associates - like that scam they were pulling with post cards in contests etc. - I hope it gets worked out and goes into effect! I heard this morning that California passed a no spam law!!!! Here's to that one!! and hope the other states follow!!! crisS ----- Original Message ----- From: David Weaver To: pctechtalk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Wednesday, September 24, 2003 1:03 PM Subject: -=PCTechTalk=- National 'Do Not Call' Register now defunct http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2003/07/07/tech/main561876.shtml To unsub or change your email settings: //www.freelists.org/webpage/pctechtalk To access our Archives: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/PCTechTalk/messages/ //www.freelists.org/archives/pctechtalk/ For more info: //www.freelists.org/cgi-bin/list?list_id=pctechtalk To unsub or change your email settings: //www.freelists.org/webpage/pctechtalk To access our Archives: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/PCTechTalk/messages/ //www.freelists.org/archives/pctechtalk/ For more info: //www.freelists.org/cgi-bin/list?list_id=pctechtalk
