By the way... eBay will remove auction listings if they don't think it's a 
legitimate original copy. And, you know, if you see any auctions for software 
not on the original CD (meaning copies) you should report it to eBay. I think 
the auction listings have a "report" button.

question, so then is it "legal" to bid/buy software on ebay?  How would you 
know if the original owner does not still have it on his/her computer?
