Umm, that depends on your definition of safe.  I usually wait until the lack
of security in the old version makes me more nervous than the bugs in the
newer version.

Secunia continues to warn me of insecure programs and I just received notice

that version 8 is ready to install.  I have cancelled but the little shield 
remains.
How will we know when it is safe to install version 8 of Internet Explorer?
