That's what I believe, as well.  In other words, if the person was
particularly bothersome to you, and you simply blocked their address so that
you didn't receive their notes, they would not know you are blocking them.
They might believe you are just ignoring them, and choose some kind of an
attitude about that.
This is why I use Mailwasher.  It will bounce the unwanted messages back to
the sender, telling them that the email is not in service somehow.

I'll be curious to see what your test shows.
From my understanding (assuming OE) -
that it merely blocks their mail from getting to you.
they have no clue that they've been blocked.
It isn't like they get a bounce back message or anything.

Hi, Can anyone tell me what the person who is "blocked" sees when he sends
me an email and he is on my 'blocked senders' list?  Does he get any
indication that I haven't received his email?  Or does it just 'bounce' back
