Hey Troth......it's called Barca <chuckle> Barca is Poco on steroids as you indicated. They also have a special program just for running on a thumbdrive......it's called PocoMail PE. You can see more at: http://www.pocosystems.com/home/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=11&Ite mid=29 I have not tried it though. I just copy the following folders back and forth between AZ and OH: Address Attached Mail Filters These folders and files fit easily on even the smaller USB thumbdrives. I prefer to move copies of the foulders and files rather than use PocoMail PE because if I loose the thumbdrive for any reason (failure or loss), I've screwed the pooch! By just tranferring the foulders and files, I have a sort of backup on the computer I can go back to. If I get to my destination and find there is a problem, I just run the program to get new mail......then take that mail back to the original destination and import it back into Poco. Hope that makes sense. I would assume, then, that I can probably run | Barco, or even Pocomail, off my thumbdrive. But, will have to toy | with it and find out. | | Here's a link if you want to check it out, since you said you are | looking for something like this as well. I haven't really settled on Thunderbird. I'm using | | | it, and sort of toying with it. And, although it looks nice | | | visually, I am unhappy with many of their features and how | | | it works. Not to mention, for | | | someone with a dozen email addresses from various domains, | | | it is a pain in the a$$ to create accounts. | | | | | | I'll be trying out several other email packages as well, | | | including my old favorite Barca.
