Another thought. If your running XP check out the built in Window Movie 
Player. It has the ability
to see the Winfast card and to use it's tuner. It only records in sucky 
WMV format, But if it works
that might tell you that it is a software problem with the Winfast 
program and not the hardware.

And this is very important. You did install the Winfast drivers first. 
And then shut down the computer
and put the card in and then install the software program. If you didn't 
it can cause problems.
