I'm not disputing anything anyone has said about printers and ink.... Just making a personal observance. I had a printer once that used different cartridges for each color. I thought, good, I can just replace the one I use the most. In actuality ... when I printed with black, it wasn't just using black, it would use all the colors. So I wound up replacing all the colors around the same time, black a little faster than the others. And true the cartridges I used were cheaper, but they also were very small and just didn't last long for my printing use.
