However, if there are any changes to the SPFILE that are not in the
init.ora, you will lose them. If you want to keep these changes, then try
this:

1. Copy your init.ora file to a backup file.
2. Create pfile from spfile;
3. Delete spfile
4. Compare new init.ora and the backup you took
5. Keep the parameters you definitely want in the init.ora
6. Shutdown and startup using the new init.ora.
