Hi Lisa,
Here at Bascom Palmer we routinely do FA's on children, both in the clinic, OR
and NICU. The dose is adjusted according to weight (35mg per each 10 lbs of
body weight) - we have found that adding a "touch" more for a very dark fundus
allows for a much better angiogram!
Feel free to contact me if I can help you in any way!!

Subject: [optimal] How young is too young?

Hi,

Just wondering, one of our doctors wants to know if we'd do a angio on a six
year old. (Coat's disease) We said "yeah..." but very slowly and would want to
check it with our angio consultant first.

What's the youngest age of a patient people have done and angio on?

Cheers,

Lisa
