Well, we have some of our bills paid directly from our checking account and 
just get email notices of the bills.  Some, I pay online, on the company's 
site; and others I pay through our bank's bill pay service.  Surprisingly, 
they don't charge for this service.  It sure is handy.  I just scheduled 
payment for two bills, this morning.

I haven't gone the "brave new world" of paperless living yet.  I only write 
a couple of
checks per month, but I still insist on getting braille bank statements 
along with print bank statements
given that I'm on SSI and redeterminations may or may not still happen.  I 
pay via phone and
credit card when I can, if they don't charge me for making payments that 
way.  I remember being
somewhat frustrated that when I was with Earthlink and had them directly 
debit from my bank account, there was
always a charge for doing that.  I think they called it a "recovery charge." 
Right now I'm putting two
41 cent stamps which my mom bought for me thinking they were forever stamps 
because a postal employee told her
they were as they do not have a designation on the stamp saying they're 41 
cents.  Gotta get rid of
them somehow and I don't need further confusion with a bunch of penny stamps 
running around here, LOL.
My overpaying the post office is my contribution to stimulating the economy, 
LOL!  Nope,
haven't figured out a way to read the stamps Optacon or otherwise, but as 
long as I remember
to put 'em on in duplicate, guess it doesn't matter till I run out of them.
