The Up-side-down Camera

Some listers might not know about this obscure feature of the Optacon.
Anyone who ever changed the camera for one of the special lenses probably
knows that the camera can be put back two different ways. One of the ways
causes the print to read up-side-down. What you may not have realized was
that this is deliberate. If you have the camera in the up-side-down
position and turn over a can so that the print is also up-side-down
visually, sometimes it's easier to read because you can reach it better.
This feature is not necessarily all that helpful but it's fun to
experiment.
NOTE: If anyone has never separated the camera before, don't do it without
either reading the owner's manual or asking for instructions. There are a
couple of tiny pins that you wouldn't want to accidentally break.
