I used to have one of those mats, but it got damaged over many years and I
eventually had to throw it out.

Thanks for supporting my idea of treating the Optacon case with the harness
oil. This could have been done much earlier, but as I wrote, no real damage
has been caused to the case.

Never thought of putting a kind of leather conditioning on the case of the
optacon. When I had a guide dog, I used it for the harness. Not a bad
idea to treat the actual leather case.
