I'm happy sitting really close in a cinema, but the seats are usually placed such that the screen is high. If I sit in the front rows I not only get a physical pain in the neck, but the trapezoidal distortion is unacceptable unless I can sit further back. I suspect I'm not alone in this. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Craig Birkmaier" <craig@xxxxxxxxx> To: <opendtv@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Tuesday, June 21, 2005 1:09 PM Subject: [opendtv] Re: BBC Demonstrates HDTV Broadcasts over SD Channels > If you doubt this, look at how many people sit in the first few rows > of a theater (unless the screening is sold out). ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can UNSUBSCRIBE from the OpenDTV list in two ways: - Using the UNSUBSCRIBE command in your user configuration settings at FreeLists.org - By sending a message to: opendtv-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with the word unsubscribe in the subject line.
