We favored the shade in Hendrick’s Park this morning, over the blazing sun of 
Fern Ridge.  However, there was a paucity of birds in the Park, though 
indicative of the season.  We walked from parking at the picnic shelter to 
trails, then the Ribbon Trail to 29th St, then back on streets until we joined 
another trail that ultimately led us back to the parking area.
