******* GWFG do seem to be deviating from the standard pattern. I heard and saw two flocks two weekends ago, after which I expected a flood. I heard another flock a week later. That's it. I live at 930 feet and am at home a lot. When they're moving I can expect thousands per hour. As for the unexpected, a WESTERN BLUEBIRD just flew over downtown Corvallis (10th and C, 8:28 am) and it was headed due south. If they were here at all it would be winter, with snow on the foothills. These flyovers at my foothill house are routine in spring, but always northbound.
