[muglo] Staying connected ?

We had a power outage here today . And after restarting my Mac ,
AppleMail keeps prompting me with dialog boxes questioning whether I
wish to stay connected . This despite my having configured my
preferences under Net work to say I do ! A restart doesn't seem to
clear it - any ideas any one ?
Provided I'm still connected !! :(
