Dianne,

Why not just increase the bottom margin and then make
that the default, or am I missing something?

for an HP problem.  I  have a workaround that
works for me.  I make a text box with a visible line
to fit the page and  then merely type my text inside
it.  Drove me nuts  for a long time before I
