I have been following this with great interest because I have a similar
problem - - I have been trying to do a stationary layout - - it has a
graphic at the top then about 10 lines of text then the same graphic at the
bottom - - I have done the layout in Word saved as HTML in the Outlook
Stationary folder - - the results have been all over - - sometimes it would
work just fine others one of the graphics would show with the box and little
red x - - sometimes the font would change on part of the massage - - I
posted a week or so ago and Linda and others said that Outlook stationary
"suck" - - I agree a 110% it is a mess!!!
Anyway I had just about given up but really wanted to try to find an answer
so I invested (? :)) $35 in a call to Microsoft - - they have been very
helpful and I have spent about 1.5 hours on the phone with them twice - -
about 3 total hours - - he, the MS tech, came up with the same results I
did - - never knowing what would happen when using the stationary - - he
tried to do it in Front Page and it would not work - - but he did come up
with a work around - - do the stationary in Word - - save as HTML in Outlook
stationary folder - - go to Mail Format in Outlook - - send the message in
HTML and check the box use Word as the editor - - close and click on New
Message that will open Word - - in Word go to Tools - - Options - - General
tab click on E-mail options at the bottom - - click on Personal Stationary
tab - - click on Themes and select the stationary that was saved - - so far
this has worked I have sent several messages and received them back with
everything intact - - graphics and font - - I don't know if this will help
with the Signature problem but thought I would send anyway because it could
help someone and you guys have helped me in the past - -
Hope this helps and can be understood - - if any questions or need some
clarification will answer - -
Thanks, Bill
