So I take it you don't want to stop at each find? I don't know if there's a way to search for only one type of quote mark, but what I would do is search for quotes in general with Replace set as I described. Make one pass with curly quotes set. Any time you find a quote that is OK as is or a curly quote that should be a straight quote, click Find next. Any time you see a straight quote that you want to change to curly, click Replace. Then set straight quotes, and go back and make another search pass. Every time you see a quote that's OK as is, click Find next, and every time you see a straight quote that should be curly, click Replace. But maybe somebody knows something that I don't.
