I'm sorry. Re-reading my post, I realize that I must have seemed like a jerk. I still don't see how you can add the codes in the Find box. I successfully searched for a special character only by inserting that character into the document and copying and pasting into the Find dialog. But it I type the character code directly in the Find box, all I'll be able to find is the code, not the character I'm searching for. The Web has those vagaries <G> Use the "Find" dialog, and enter the character codes on the appropriate box either by using the numeric pad on the keyboard or by using the Character Map utility provided by Windows.
