Hi Dian,

<<Just insert a bookmark and then you can reference a page to that item.
That's usually how folks insert stuff like "See page ##
for more information.">>

Using you comments and the Word Help system, I learned how to insert bookmarks
and to link to them from other pages in my newsletter.

I still don't understand how to cause Word to insert the correct page numbers
in the "See page ##" or the "Continued from page ##" comments. I tried
inserting Field Codes in place of the page numbers, but the codes translate
into the current page -- not the destination or sending page.

For example, an article that began on page three was continued on page ten
originally. After revision, the continued part went to page twelve. What
codes must I use to cause Word to update the relevant page numbers? I need a
code that returns the page number where a specified bookmark is placed, and
returns an updated value if the bookmarked section is moved.

It would be great to see a worked example.

Thanks for the help.

Ray Shapp
