<<I joined this list to get just this answer..if there is not an answer..I can move on>> First of all, I'm sure people were trying to be helpful and suggesting the quickest way they knew to do this. Obviously, if no one came up with an answer that is quick enuf for you, it's becuz no one knows one. As far as I know, what you are asking isn't possible in any quick way....even if you were to write a macro, how would you tell Excel what's going to be on every sheet tab, then tell it to move that tab to a particular location? Sorry, but I believe we are looking at a limit of the program....some things just have to be done manually. If it IS possible to write a macro to alphabetize sheet tabs (which I kinda doubt), you might find someone who can do it in the Microsoft Excel Newsgroups....or the VBA newsgroups...or a yahoo group that is specifically for Excel or VBA. Good luck in your "moving on" ;-) Sorry we couldn't come up with anything quick enuf for you.
