I was just having a look at Doug Hewsons site and noticed that he is now
producing some replacement parts for the Winson Britannia that might make
life a bit easier on the builders.

met many years ago during one of the early outings with my Winson Brit. and
had kept in touch ever since.

exhibition standards (steam operated drain cocks even).

be doing the bizzo. I have also seen several 14xx locos running with varying
degres of success.

model engineering world, that these engines cannot be made to run. They
can - if you are prepared to be ruthless in modifying and replacing many of
the supplied parts.
