A Belated Merry Christmas to you All,

I got a 20L drum of slideway oil from Santa. It's Castrol Magnaglide D 68,
and I'm speaking as a fitter and turner when I say, it's the best bloody
slideway oil I've ever used!!!!! It's bloody fantastic!
Take the time to check it out on the net. Castrol do a ISO 100 oil as well,
but you don't need to use such a heavey oil when using this stuff.
There's only one problem with it..... 20L cost AU$150.....I only know the
price because I was pricing it at the start of the month. But, after using
it on my shaper and mill yesterday, I truely believe it's worth the
investment. It has a tacking agent in it that makes it stick and stay stuck
to vertical surfaces, which is really handy for round surfaces and vertical
slideways.

Have a Happy New Year, Everyone.

Cheers,

Phill.
