Jon, This must be heart breaking. I doubt very much if the problem lies with the car paint - I have used the stuff on smokeboxes and boilers running at 110psi with zero lagging and never had a problem. Could it be that you have used a primer or undercoat that has blistered underneath the car paint? Was the metal absolutely clean (i.e. washed with cellulose thinners) before you aplied any paint?
