Hi Roger,

I don't say you're wrong, but my experience is that while some viruses are
targeted specifically to IE, many will attack through Netscape as well,
especially newer versions of it.

A few years ago Microsoft bought Netscape and since then have added lots of
MS functionality to the software. This includes all the MS vulnerabilities
which make it easy for viruses to attack.

Why MS can't get these vulnerabilities eliminated from their software is
beyond me, except that it is probably low on the business priority list. If
they aren't losing profits they don't care about problems.

The McAfee AV suite may work better with Netscape.

Good luck, Jeff Dayman Waterloo Ontario Canada
