Good luck with your iMac! Hope all goes well. -----Original Message----- From: macvoiceover-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:macvoiceover-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Russell Solowoniuk Sent: Wednesday, August 05, 2009 9:23 AM To: macvoiceover@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [macvoiceover] Re: [macvoiceover]Not all Apple Stores are created equal Hi Richard, I purchased my iPhone from a Rogers outlet, and had a similar experience... techno lust and all! <smile> I love that term! I called and found out that they only had 1 16 gig black iPhone left. I explained that I was blind and would need to take a cab over, so would they hold it for me, and he told me that they couldn't do that. Luckily, I called a cab right away, and the phone was still there when I arrived. Now, as for my iMac, I'll be buying it at "My Mac Dealer", which is quite a bit further away. I called them yesterday to make sure they have one in stock. I was told that they had 2 iMac 20" in stock. I told them that I was blind and have a way to get over there this afternoon, and could they hold one of them for me. He told me that it wouldn't be a problem, and is holding it for me, so I think I'll have a good experience with this store.
