It might be a longshot, but have you tried setting up a test account and 
logging into it?  I think it has to be an admin so the guest account won't do 
it.  If this works, you will need to delete your itunes files from your 
computer, not your content and reinstall itunes.  I'm making this rash proposal 
because I don't know which file is linked to the sharing settings.
