      I don't know if either of these will be helpful to you and might just be 
shot in the dark.  Firstly, in iTunes preferences in the sharing tab under 
advance button, do you have the box to share your iTunes library on the network 
checked?  I don't know if this is required, but I have it checked on my Mac 
Book Pro and Mini.  Secondly, are you sure the home sharing isn't turned on 
already?  I just got a Mini and when I went to the advance menu, home sharing 
was already turned on.
