Funny that Wallis Willis' song should come up on a day when our newspaper is 
running an article about descendants of freedmen losing benefits associated 
with being part of the Cherokee nation.  Willis was a freedman from Chocktaw 
slavery.

Surely if Americans can take "Amazing Grace" to heart, Brits are allowed to 
have a run at "Swing Low"?  All's fair in love, war and singing.  (I'll draw 
the line at karaoke, which should have been stifled at birth).
