No. Nowadays, most geisha clients are senior business executives. The
very high class, very private, and very expensive Japanese restaurants
where geisha perform are used mainly for discrete private business
meetings. The geisha are a frill, the icing on the cake, the pickles
not the tofu--not the primary purpose for which the meetings occur.
A.A. I'm sure it's all good clean fun, right in keeping with the corruption
the Japanese are known for in government and business. Perqs are never a
primary purpose.
