Dear Christian and all, Greeting!I would like to clarify with regards to the Ethiopic or Ethiopian Braille contribution and related credit. I Tamru E. Belay an Ethiopian origin has developed the Ethiopic Braille for the first time with Duxbury in year 2006. Next, in year 2009, I have designed and developed again the Ethiopic Braille with additional Ethiopic Braille tables for the WinBraille the Index company product. I know, the Winbraille is not supporting anymore 32 bit. Now, in April 2011, I have contributed and worked with Peter Engström on Ethiopian or Ethiopic Braille table for the Liblouis project. Actually, the original Ethiopic Braille table is the one I have donated to the Index company and for the Duxbury as well.
Finally, the appropriate Ethiopian Braille is called: "Ethiopic Braille".Therefore, may I request the Liblouis project to recognize and give credit to Tamru E. Belay PH.D for the Ethiopic Braille too?
Thanks for the Liblouis project team for the good job what you are doing. Cordially, Dr. Tamru E. Belay. http://www3.sympatico.ca/tamru----- Original Message ----- From: "Christian Egli" <christian.egli@xxxxxx>
