Hi!

Been struggling with an irritating problem in my X5D. The problem is some
kind
of voltage peak(I assume) which resets all my sounddata (both prog & combi)
to initsounds. This happens randomly at home or elsewhere when power is
turned on (does not happen every time I turn the power on).

I had my Korg inspected by the dealer, but no defect on the board was
found..so I just went on using the defective board (should have taken the
problem more seriously when it still was under warranty). My local Korg
dealer could not tell what the problem is either. They suggested that I
would replace the battery just in case. I don't think the problem is in the
battery, but decided to replace it anyway.

I tried to run both of the test-programs according to the instructions on
Korgy Park's pages. However, the latter of the tests (the more comprehensive
one with the voltage test) failed and my board hanged blinking the leds
(combi, prog + etc).

Can anyone help me with the problem. Despite this awkward problem I like the
x5D very much and use it on gigs without any backup (risky considering the
problem I have with it, huh!). I would appreciate it, if anyone could give
some information to fix the problem.
