We're not right on the coast, but as the crow flies we're less than 20
miles from it. Strange that I don't even remember news coverage of the
incident 10 years ago.

::shrug:: If I had to guess, I'd suggest that the high-altitude plume
circulated along the cost, not inland, so if you're inland you might
have missed it. I've certainly  seen very different weather in Southern
New England over the years depending a lot of elevation and distance
from the ocean.

Strange. I've been here my entire life and I don't recall that
happening. How on earth could I forget about it?  Maybe since there was
no smell?  Or maybe we were overcast for those days and wouldn't have
noticed it anyways.  I don't know. Can't recall that happening at all.
