Being upside down you're not putting in w instead of m or p instead of d are
you? <g>

Seriously though, using name servers over such a distance may be the issue, the
chances are the mail is timing out before finding a successful routing.

Instead of mail.mcb.net and smtp.mcb.net try putting in the physical address
83.218.25.26
It is the address of the hairpin.mcb.net server which both your webmail and
Bones' posts are routed through.

If this doesn't work try:
83.218.31.19 - the BL1.mcb.net server which is the first IP address linked to
e-mail originating from Bones (as opposed to forwarded from) sees.

Other possibilities are:
83.128.25.15 - mcb.net, the home address of Manx Computer Bureau, your IP
provider
83.218.26.5 - dns1.mcb.net, one of their domain servers
83.218.27.5 - dns3.mcb.net, another of their registered domain servers (the
order is correct, they are out of sequence)
83.218.28.5 - dns2.mcb.net, another registered domain server

When you send an e-mail the first thing that happens is your e-mail client gets
authorization from your e-mail provider. Being so far away, the chances are
this process is timing out or there are too many data hops for your provider to
consider the link secure. You may therefore have the right settings
(mail.mcb.net and smtp.mcb.net) but still not get authorization. Using IPs
instead of named servers may help (it may prevent time-outs because each server
handling the data packets doesn't have to look up the IP address of the server)
but this kind of issue is why most IP providers now also include web access.
It's clumsy but you may be stuck with it for now!

Paul

Tried both but no success.
