hit your start button, choose run, type regedit , press enter
arrow down the list to key current user,
arrow rite once, arrow down to
software,
rite arrow once,
arrow down to microsoft, arrow rite once,
arrow down to msnmessenger, press delete.

Subject: urgent help please!
I need help with msn messenger. I had 5.0, and I should have left it there.
I upgraded to 6.2, and it sort of worked for awhile, and then it didn't.
What I mean is, no typing sounds. It kept saying return one. I didn't have
anything to lose so I upgraded to 7.0 that was just as bad. I am using jaws
5.1 and windows 98se. I have completely uninstalled msn, and it won't let me
go back to 5.0. I miss talking to my friends, I hope someone can help!
